Site Manager

Specifically, he/she will be responsible for:
– Organize work among workers according to directives received;
– Supervise the work being performed on an ongoing basis to ensure the quality of the work and compliance with legislative and procedural requirements for workplace safety;
– Supervise the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and the quality of execution of construction work in accordance with the project;
– Ensure constant presence at the construction site, for direct contact and supervision of activities, being a contact person for subcontractors as well as stations
contractors;
– Verify procurement needs and consumption to target material purchases, supporting the project manager in developing the procurement plan;
– Check compliance of materials delivered to the construction site also in relation to accompanying documentation;
– Oversee the progress of activities according to the agreed timetable, supporting the project manager in evaluating progress, including for the purpose of preparing work accounts;

The ideal candidate is a responsible and ambitious person, characterized by utmost attention to detail and strong predisposition to work in a team.
The resource will be placed within a professional development track, for which the following minimum requirements are requested:
– Possession of a bachelor’s degree (pref. surveyor) or degree with a civil/building/environmental focus. However, other situations of equivalence will be evaluated;
– Ability to read a technical drawing;
– Knowledge of Office package;
– High interpersonal skills;
– Willingness to travel throughout the country and Europe;

Preference will be a requirement:
– Experience in managing construction sites of sewage treatment plants and sewerage networks;
– Ability to use major design software (e.g., AutoCAD and/or similar), site accounting drafting (e.g., Matrix 888, Primus and/or similar), topographic instrumentation;
– Attestation training on the role of the supervisor under Leg. 81/08 et seq.
– Knowledge of the English language;
