The position of site manager/site supervisor, by way of example but not limited to, consists of performing the following functions:

• Verify compliance with the safety procedures during the execution of works in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/2008 and ss.mm.e ii. and the prescriptions issued by the Contracting Authority’s Director of Works and/or the appointed Site Technical Director, as well as perform the duties as defined for the role in accordance with art. 2, c. 1 lett e) and art. 19 of Legislative Decree 81/08 and ss.mm.
• Implement the Principal’s directives by organizing the work activity and supervising its development;
• Check the documentation of companies on the site and their operators, based on current industry regulations;
• Monitor compliance with occupational accident prevention and occupational hygiene regulations by workers employed by the Client and subcontractors, reporting any deficiencies and shortcomings at the construction site;
• Participate in safety coordination meetings;
• Verify the conformity of the site preparations (sheds, installations, fences, signs, etc.) in relation to the site plan and the requirements given by the Safety Coordinator during the Execution phase as well as by the Director of Works;
• Attend inspections and surveys by the Safety Coordinator during Execution, the Construction Manager and third-party agencies;
• Organize the work activity and supervise the execution of the work;
• Verify compliance with the time schedule of the work to be assigned to the Client’s employees and workers of subcontracting companies;
• Verify the conformity and quality of the execution of the works and works, possibly also carried out by subcontractors and subcontractors, based on the graphic and descriptive drawings of the Project and/or with respect to indications given by the Director of Works and/or the appointed Technical Director, so that they are carried out in compliance with the executive project and the standards of good engineering, possibly through the verification of plano-altimetric levels, elevations, hydraulic profiles, tracings, or any measurements that may generate a need for in-depth study;
• With specific regard to the execution of structural concrete works rather than electromechanical installations, verify the correct installation of reinforcements based on what is contained in the design drawings filed with the relevant offices (formerly Genio Civile) and attend to the concrete castings, as well as the workmanlike assembly of piping and electromechanical components based on the design drawings and/or assembly sketches provided by the Client;
• Verify the compliance of materials delivered to the construction site, including in relation to accompanying documentation;
• Monitor procurement and consumption needs to target materials purchasing, supporting the Site Technical Director in developing the procurement plan
• Support the Site Technical Director in the preparation of progress accounting to the contracting station and to subcontractors;
• Support the Technical Site Manager in the preparation of photographic and descriptive reports regarding progress at the site;

The ideal candidate is a responsible and ambitious person, characterized by utmost attention to detail and strong predisposition to work in a team.
The resource will be included within a professional development path, for which the following minimum requirements are requested:
– Possession of a secondary school diploma (pref. surveyor) or a degree with a civil/building/environmental focus. However, other situations of equivalence will be evaluated;
– Ability to read a technical drawing;
– Knowledge of Office package;
– High interpersonal skills;
– Willingness to travel domestically and Europe;

The following will be a preferential requirement:
– Experience in the management of construction sites of sewage treatment plants and sewer networks;
– Ability to use the main design software (e.g., AutoCAD and/or similar), site accounting drafting (e.g., Matrix 888, Primus and/or similar), topographical instrumentation;
– Attestable training on the role of the supervisor in accordance with Leg. 81/08 et seq.
– Knowledge of the English language;
