“The project involved the design (final and executive) and construction of: – a first section of pipeline (siphon No. 1), originating from the header tank of the Locone drinking water treatment plant and terminating in a first disconnection tower located in the countryside of Canosa – consisting of DN1200 steel pipes of a length of about 20 km; – a second section of pipeline (siphon No. 2), originating from the disconnection work in the countryside of Canosa and terminating in a second tower built near the Barletta reservoir – consisting of DN1600 steel pipelines with a length of about 18 km. Three overhead crossings were required as part of the work: the first over the Locone Creek, the second over the Muge Canal, and the third over the Camaggi Canal.”
